Job summary

A leading provider of green steel solutions in Oman seeks a Senior Process Engineer with a minimum of 20 years in process engineering, particularly in gas-based Direct Reduction plants. Key responsibilities include owning process flow diagrams and leading the interface with technology licensors. Candidates should have deep knowledge of gas-based systems and demonstrated leadership in process safety. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and a Master's is preferred. Experience in the GCC or Middle East is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years' experience in process engineering with direct experience on gas-based Direct Reduction plants.
• Proven experience in a senior process role through at least one full lifecycle of a DR plant.
• Deep knowledge of gas-based DR process systems and associated safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Own the process flow diagrams and process control philosophy for the DR plant.
• Lead the technical interface with process technology licensors.
• Contribute to process safety studies including HAZID and HAZOP.
