Wood is currently hiring a Senior Process Safety Engineer for a secondment role in Muscat, Oman. The assignment duration is 1 year, with a focus on leading Process Safety engineering for the NGLE project within the Process Engineering scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in similar projects.
• Process/Chemical Engineering Degree with relevant certification.
• Experience in refinery and petrochemical projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and lead Process Safety Engineering design within NGLE project scope.
• Ensure QA/QC to meet project requirements within budget and schedule.
• Lead detailed design and select optimum Process Safety solutions from technical and economic perspectives.
• Coordinate with vendors and other functions on process design and execution.
• Ensure safety, quality control procedures are followed throughout the work.
