Job summary

A leader in green steel production in Oman is seeking an experienced Senior Civil and Structural Engineer. This role involves leading the civil and structural engineering review process for a 2.5 Mtpa green DRI/HBI plant. Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in large heavy industrial projects and a strong background in foundations, structural steel, and geotechnical engineering. The position requires excellent communication skills and proficiency in managing interfaces across contractors and infrastructure partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' experience in civil and structural engineering on large heavy industrial process plants.
• Strong command of foundations, structural steel, reinforced concrete, and industrial site infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a senior technical authority in a lean owner's team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering review, approval, and assurance process.
• Interface with mechanical, process, and electrical disciplines to ensure integrated plant design.
• Support cost estimation development for civil and structural project scope.
