Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Senior HSE & Emergency Response Specialist to support HSE programs across mining and processing facilities. You will provide technical expertise in health and safety, process safety, and emergency preparedness, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

The role covers hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, contractor management, and environmental compliance, with a focus on maintaining emergency response readiness

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of HSE and Emergency Response experience in mining, mineral processing, metals, cement, heavy industry, or oil & gas.
• Minimum 3 years in open-pit mining and/or mineral processing operations.
• Experience in emergency response planning and firefighting operations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in investigations of incidents, injuries, near misses, property damage, process safety events, environmental incidents, and dangerous occurrences.
• Coordinate and monitor action items until closure with comprehensive reports and lessons learned.
• Develop, review, and maintain Emergency Response Plans for mining and process plant operations.
• Coordinate emergency drills, training, and competency management programs with external organizations.
