Job summary

OmanYP is seeking a Finance Associate to join our client-focused finance team in Oman. The role emphasizes end-to-end invoicing, collections, and dispute resolution across MENA markets, with collaboration across sales and client finance teams.

The successful candidate will handle VAT and e-invoicing compliance, manage ageing reports, and drive process improvements in billing operations while communicating fluently in English and Arabic. SAP and advanced Excel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing or collections.
• Strong knowledge of MENA billing and collection processes (UAE and Saudi Arabia a plus).
• Experience with VAT and e-invoicing requirements and regional regulations.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; SAP and advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate client invoices to ensure compliance with regional tax and e-invoicing regulations across MENA markets.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, drive collection activities and support timely payment recovery.
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes, payment discrepancies and invoice-related queries.
• Partner with sales teams to support client onboarding, billing setup and payment process alignment.
• Liaise with client finance and accounts payable teams to maintain accurate billing information and improve invoice acceptance.
• Coordinate with billing, tax, legal and finance teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment and dispute resolution.
• Prepare reporting on invoicing, collections, ageing, compliance metrics and month-end activities while supporting process improvements.
