Job summary

Gender is seeking a Lead Mechanical/Projects Engineer & Maintenance to lead operations at the manufacturing facility. You will drive preventive, predictive and reliability-centered maintenance, manage utilities, rotating/static equipment, piping systems and plant infrastructure.

You will lead shutdowns, commissioning, expansion projects and asset optimization initiatives while ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical projects engineering and maintenance operations for the manufacturing facility.
• Implement preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
• Ensure high equipment availability, plant reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Manage utilities, rotating/static equipment, piping systems, and plant infrastructure.
• Drive shutdowns, commissioning, expansion projects, and asset optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and international engineering standards.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor performance.
• Lead and develop high-performing engineering and maintenance teams.
• Collaborate with Production, Projects, EHS, and Procurement functions.
• Drive continuous improvement, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational excellence programs.
