Job summary

Gender is seeking an experienced Operations Support Engineer for offshore facilities to provide robust technical leadership on piping systems and reliability. You will lead operability and readiness assessments, review modification proposals, and coordinate multi-asset projects across processing plants and production platforms.

You will mentor junior engineers, support incident investigations, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safety, integrity and optimal performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Petroleum or related discipline.
• Post-degree qualification or professional engineering certification preferred.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Excellent English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
• 8+ years' experience in Operations Support or related fields, preferably in oil & gas or large industrial sector.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and operational support for offshore facilities.
• Strong experience with offshore facilities and piping systems, ORA, RCA and safety practices.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and developing local talent.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust technical engineering expertise for offshore facility operations and piping systems.
• Lead operability, availability and reliability assessments and review modification proposals.
• Prioritize multiple engineering activities and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Support incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate planning, budgeting and reporting for operations support engineering.
• Act as interface to procurement for technical materials and services.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and Oman national staff.
• Engage stakeholders across functions and vendors to drive reliability improvements.
