Job summary

Acwa Operations is seeking an experienced maintenance and operations leader to drive plant performance across clusters in the Oman operation. You will monitor KPIs, prepare monthly MIS reports, and coordinate with sites to implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities include implementing maintenance planning and outage management, aligning with corporate guidelines, driving spares availability, overseeing budgets, mobilization for new projects, and ensuring timely closure of audits and lessons

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7-10 years’ experience in Power/Utilities industry.
• Experience with performance management and monitoring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical expertise in a given area.
• Good planning and organising skills.
• Ability to take decisions and operate in ambiguity.
• Thorough understanding of the business value chain.
• Experience of working with Power Purchase Agreements.
• Good understanding of Project Management technique.
• Strong O&M experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report cluster KPIs on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Prepare action plans to close gaps, in coordination with sites.
• Ensure cluster monthly MIS reports are circulated to stakeholders.
• Lead maintenance planning and outage management to improve reliability.
• Oversee budget preparation and cost variances to improve financial bottom line.
• Coordinate with cluster engineering for outage TILS, risk reviews and mitigations.
• Drive maintenance spares, BOM availability and inventory optimization.
• Lead project mobilization and CMMS master data alignment for new builds.
• Capture post-outage lessons learned with closure actions and KPIs.
• Ensure audits observations are addressed and closed on time.
