Job summary

A leading oil and gas consultancy is seeking an experienced LNG Start Up Operations Manager for a 12-month project in Sohar, Oman. The role requires a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and 15+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in similar roles. Responsibilities include preparing start-up procedures and assisting the Commissioning and Start-up Team. This position offers a resident schedule, working 5 days a week and ensures the critical start-up phase is achieved successfully.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Professional experience: +15 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• +5 years’ experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for startup procedures and operating procedures.
• Assist the Commissioning and Start-up Team during the start-up phase.
• Report directly to the Commissioning & Start-up Methods Lead.

Skills

Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English

Experience with large onshore plants and LNG plants

Education

Master degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
