  • Establish and manage occupational health programmes including fitness-for-work, industrial hygiene, and health surveillance.
  • Ensure all HSSE incidents, near-misses, and observations are promptly reported, rigorously investigated, and root causes addressed through systemic corrective actions.
  • Lead and oversee major incident investigations; present findings and corrective action plans to the CEO and Board.
  • Maintain a lessons-learned database and ensure findings are shared and embedded across all departments.
ENVIRONMENT & SECURITY
  • Oversee the Company's environmental management system including air quality, water management, tailings management, land rehabilitation, and waste management.

  • Lead HSSE audits, inspections, and third-party assurance reviews; track and close out all findings.
7. Emergency Preparedness & Response
  • Develop, maintain, and regularly test the Company's emergency response plan covering all credible site emergency scenarios.
  • Lead emergency drills, exercises, and post-drill improvement programmes.
