Job summary

Mazoon Mining Company seeks an HSSE Director to lead a company-wide health, safety, security and environment strategy across a 2.5 Mtpa copper operation. The role reports to the CEO and drives zero-harm culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous HSSE improvement across all sites and open pits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Postgraduate HSSE/Engineering/Business Management qualification desirable.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent required.
• Lead Auditor certifications (ISO 45001/ISO 14001) desirable.
• Emergency Response Certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSSE strategy, management system, and culture.
• Lead safety, health, environment and security across mining/processing operations.
• Provide strategic HSSE advice to CEO, Board, and leadership team.
• Set and monitor HSSE KPIs and reporting to CEO/Board.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, audits, and incident investigations.
• Lead emergency preparedness, response drills, and training for staff.
