Job summary

Wood is seeking a senior HSSE transformation leader with 12–15 years of experience to drive organizational change in oil & gas and related sectors. You will lead culture programs, build leadership capabilities and shape safety performance across multinational teams.

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, with preferred advanced certifications in safety or organizational development. This role is based in Oman and involves high-level stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Occupational Safety, Organizational Psychology, Human factors, Organizational Development or Behavioral Science.
• Preferred master’s degree in Safety Management, Organizational Psychology, Human Factors or Organizational Development.
• Professional certifications such as CMIOSH, CSP, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent are highly regarded.

Experience Requirements

Essential Minimum 12 15 years HSSE experience.

Minimum 5 years leading organizational culture or transformation initiatives.

Experience within oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, mining, aviation, utilities, or other high-risk industries.

Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and influencing senior leaders.

Experience developing leadership capability programs.

Experience designing and implementing culture assessment frameworks.

Experience managing cross-functional transformation projects.

Preferred Experience

Preferred Experience implementing Human and Organizational Performance (HOP).

Experience conducting Safety Culture Maturity Assessments.

Experience with Learning Teams and Operational Learning methodologies.

Experience leading multinational workforces and contractor populations.
