Job summary

Oman Investment Authority is seeking an Engineer Maintenance Contracts to oversee administration of maintenance service agreements, coordinate tendering and contractor selection, and monitor performance against KPIs to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations.

The role supports procurement and commercial activities, contract documentation, and governance compliance, contributing to commissioning, start-up, and sustainable operational performance across maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of maintenance planning, shutdown planning, contracts administration, or maintenance management experience (for Higher Diploma: 10+ years).
• Experience in mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial operations is desirable.
• Six-sigma BB certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Administer maintenance service contracts and ensure compliance with company requirements.
• Coordinate contract tendering, bid evaluations, technical assessments and contractor selection.
• Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, deliverables and service levels.
• Support budgeting, cost forecasts and cost optimization for maintenance contracts.
• Coordinate maintenance shutdowns, planned outages and contractor resources.
