Job summary

Gender is seeking an experienced Release Manager to lead end-to-end deployment and automation activities across CI/CD pipelines. You will coordinate with development teams to ensure code integrity, manage configurations, and drive efficient release processes using Kubernetes/OpenShift and related tools.

The role requires strong scripting abilities (Python/Jython, UNIX shell) and hands-on expertise with Jenkins, Helm Charts, and Nexus to support scalable infrastructure and reliable software

Qualifications

• Overall 10+ years of release management experience including DevOps, configuration management, build and deployment.
• Experience deploying using DevOps and automation, with strong problem solving and project management skills.
• Hands-on administration/automation of container deployments in Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python/Jython, UNIX Shell) and in tools like Jenkins, Helm, GIT, Nexus.

Responsibilities

• Lead release management activities including deployment automation and configuration management.
• Administer and automate argosCD, XL Deploy/Release, and related tooling.
• Automate infrastructure and delivery pipelines with Python/Jython and shell scripts.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure code integrity and smooth deployment processes.
