Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks a Senior Engineer to lead drawings and design management for mining and processing assets. You will govern engineering drawings, design data, and document control to ensure accuracy, compliance, and ready access for safe operation.

You will drive engineering design activities for plant upgrades, asset improvements, and debottlenecking, coordinating with operations, maintenance, reliability, projects, and external consultants to ensure lifecycle sustainability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or CAD/CAM engineering, or equivalent.
15 years experience in designs and drafting mechanical structures and mechanical equipment in mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial operations.
Minimum 5 years in a senior engineering design coordination or technical authority role.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage engineering drawings and lifecycle documents.
Coordinate multidisciplinary drawing reviews and approvals.
Lead plant upgrade and modification design activities.
Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and document control.
Maintain master drawing registers and as-built records.
Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Projects and external consultants.
