Job summary

Gender in Oman seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical systems across diverse projects. You will manage a team of engineers and designers, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, you will guide technical design, coordinate with project managers, and drive safe, compliant practices under HSE and asset owner requirements. Proficiency in P&ID, PI software, and SAP is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of experience in electrical engineering in oil & gas.
• Familiar with IEEE, API, ASME, ASTM and process control tools.
• Proficient in English and Arabic where required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of electrical systems for diverse projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers.
• Collaborate with project managers to define scope, timelines and resources.
• Drive technical design work on studies and project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with HSE management system and quality standards.
• Coordinate with asset owners, vendors and other departments.
