Job summary

Aramco seeks an experienced Delayed Coker/Visbreaker Engineering Specialist to join the Operation Engineering Solutions Department. The role provides in-depth process engineering and operations expertise to monitor, optimize, and drive performance improvements for refineries’ delayed coker and visbreaker units, including remote and on-site advisory support and knowledge management.

The ideal candidate holds a chemical engineering degree with 15+ years in refinery/petrochemical environments,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
Minimum 15 years in refinery/petrochemical industry with 10+ years in delayed coker/visbreaker
Sound knowledge of ASME/API/NFPA standards relevant to fired equipment

Responsibilities

Conduct performance reviews of delayed coker/visbreaker facilities and analyze KPIs
Develop and present quarterly benchmarking reports with actionable recommendations
Provide hands-on support to implement performance improvement initiatives and close gaps
Lead benchmarking and best practices exchanges among Global Manufacturing facilities
Deliver remote and field technical advisory support including troubleshooting and debottlenecking
Coordinate with process, mechanical, instrumentation and electrical disciplines for system integration
Conduct audits and inspections to ensure safety, regulatory, and quality compliance
Evaluate new technologies for delayed coker/visbreaker optimization
