Job summary

Aramco seeks an experienced Delayed Coker/Visbreaker Engineering Specialist to join the Operation Engineering Solutions Department. The role provides in-depth process engineering support for refineries globally, with remote and on-site advisory duties to boost performance and reliability.

The successful candidate will lead benchmarking, implement performance improvements, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize coker/visbreaker units in line with industry standards and safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 15 years in refinery/petrochemical industry with 10+ years in delayed coker/visbreaker.
Proven optimization of delayed coker/visbreaker operations with measurable results.
Deep knowledge of delayed coker/visbreaker processes, equipment and systems.
Strong understanding of ASME, API, NFPA standards for fired equipment.
Experience in inspection, failure analysis and advanced NDE techniques.
Proficiency in Aspen Hysys, ANSYS and HTRI; remaining life calculations for heater tubes.

Responsibilities

Conduct performance reviews of delayed coker/visbreaker facilities and KPI analysis.
Develop quarterly benchmarking reports with actionable improvements.
Provide remote and on-site technical advisory support; debottlenecking and revamps.
Lead best practices exchanges among Global Manufacturing facilities.
Prepare detailed service reports for each advisory activity.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical teams.
Audit equipment to ensure safety, environmental and quality compliance.
Evaluate new technologies for delayed coker/visbreaker optimization.
