Saudi Aramco is seeking a Process Engineer with extensive utilities expertise to join the Operations Engineering Solutions Department. The role focuses on monitoring, optimizing, and driving performance of utilities across refineries and plants globally, with hands-on design, troubleshooting and benchmarking responsibilities.

Ideal candidates hold a chemical engineering degree and have 15+ years of utilities experience, including 10+ years in refinery utilities, desalination and boiler systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 15 years total Utilities experience with 10+ years in refinery utilities.
• Experience in water desalination and boilers for steam generation.
• Proven track record in troubleshooting, start-up/shutdown, and capacity tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular performance reviews of Utilities using KPIs for operability, profitability, reliability and safety.
• Develop quarterly benchmarking reports with actionable recommendations.
• Provide hands-on support to implement performance improvements and close gaps.
• Lead knowledge sharing and best-practices exchanges across facilities.
• Deliver remote and field technical advisory support including design and testing activities.
• Prepare detailed service reports with findings and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with engineers to drive cost optimization through low-capital improvements.
• Coordinate Global Manufacturing and Corporate programs for Utilities in facilities.
