Job summary

AECOM is a global infrastructure firm seeking a senior IT infrastructure leader to drive cross-functional project management and guide the integration of new technologies across high-complexity programs.

You will mentor staff, set project direction, and oversee system-wide initiatives, delivering scalable solutions for large infrastructure projects in rail, transportation, and construction sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/IS/Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree is advantageous but not essential.
• Certifications such as Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, PMP, PMIS-related.
• Typically 12+ years of experience in database administration, PMIS implementation, or project controls.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, or engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Works under minimal supervision.
• Performs system-wide/cross-functional team management.
• Provides direction for projects.
• Plans and manages implementation and integration of new technologies.
• Project size is of high complexity.
• Viewed as a subject matter expert within the organization.
• Acts as a mentor to less senior IT staff.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline

Master's degree is advantageous but not essential

Oracle Database Certification

Microsoft SQL Server Certification

PMP (Project Management Professional)

PMIS-related certifications

Typically 12+ years of experience in database administration, PMIS implementation, or project controls systems

Proven experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, or engineering projects
