Job summary

AECOM is a global infrastructure leader delivering essential projects worldwide. We seek an experienced project manager to lead moderately complex programs in rail, metro or large-scale infrastructure, coordinating with clients and regulatory bodies.

The role involves guiding multi-discipline teams, shaping project delivery from initiation through close-out, and navigating stakeholder engagement to ensure successful outcomes across multiple services and geographies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Communications, Business, or related field required.
  • Minimum 18 years of professional experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience on rail, metro, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing relationships with government agencies and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent English communication skills required; Arabic language proficiency is essential for this Saudi Arabia-based position.

Responsibilities

  • Manages one or more moderately complex project, involving a combination of the following: Clients with a regional geographic footprint; OR, Projects involved multiple services provided by regional offices; OR, other complexities.
  • May manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
  • Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
  • Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
  • May supervise: senior level engineers, as well as project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating and procurement representatives.

Job Description

  • Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
  • May manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
  • Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
  • Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
  • May supervise: senior level engineers (all disciplines applicable), as well as project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating and procurement representatives.

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience on rail, metro, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder mapping, engagement strategies, and issue resolution.
  • Fluent English communication skills required; Arabic language proficiency is essential for this Saudi Arabia-based position.
