Job summary

OQ is seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to provide engineering and commercial support across complex project contracts. You will coordinate and oversee contract formation, tender evaluation, and administration to ensure compliant, cost-effective outcomes.

Responsibilities include drafting terms, leading tender processes, and advising project teams on procurement strategies while maintaining HSE compliance and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field and professional certifications preferred.
• Experience in contract formation, awarding and administration.
• Strong knowledge of tender laws, procurement processes and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Draft complex contractual terms to protect company interests and align with tender strategy.
• Develop tender specifications for Projects, EPC, FEED, and related contracts.
• Lead pre-award to post-award contract management, including change management and dispute escalation.
• Advise end-users on procurement approaches and risk mitigation.
• Support negotiations with vendors to maximize value while ensuring quality and cost control.
• Maintain compliance with HSE policies and internal codes of ethics across contracts.
• Foster knowledge transfer and coaching for contract engineers and team members.
