Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools for design and documentation.
• Understanding of integration with structural, MEP and other disciplines.

Role Description

The Senior Architect will lead the design and coordination of architectural projects from concept through detailed design and construction documentation. This full-time, on-site role based in Muscat involves developing design solutions, preparing drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with local regulations, standards, and client requirements. The Senior Architect will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, guide junior staff, review and refine design proposals, and participate in client meetings and presentations. Daily responsibilities include managing design timelines, coordinating with engineers and external consultants, overseeing design quality, and supporting tender and construction phases as required.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to lead complex projects and deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Competence in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of architectural deliverables and multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of Integration between architectural designs and structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
• Familiarity with relevant Software Development concepts or tools as they relate to architectural workflows, such as BIM, parametric design, and digital collaboration platforms.
• Professional degree in Architecture (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from an accredited institution.
• Several years of experience in an architectural leadership role, preferably within civil engineering or property development contexts.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, 3D modeling software).
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, on-site team environment.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Oman or the GCC region is an advantage.
