Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
• 6–8+ years of experience in accounting, billing or finance administration.
• Experience in a law firm, consulting firm, or professional services environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, invoicing and receivables management.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and financial reporting in Oman.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and follow-up abilities.
• Fluency in English; native Arabic speaker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, cash accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Process payroll and staff reimbursements.
• Prepare and issue client invoices.
• Ensure compliance with Omani tax, VAT, and financial regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements.
• Maintain payroll records and statutory deductions.
• Support finance-related administrative tasks as required.
• Prepare and issue client invoices based on lawyers' timesheets, fixed-fee arrangements.
• Ensure timely invoicing.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain aging reports.
• Reconcile client accounts and billing records.
• Coordinate with lawyers and partners regarding billing matters and fee collections.
• Generate billing and revenue reports for management review.
