Job summary

Talent Arabia in Oman is seeking an experienced Scrum Master with 5 to 8 years of agile delivery experience to join our client delivery team on a full-time basis in Oman.

In this specialized agile leadership and Scrum facilitation role, you will spearhead facilitating Agile ceremonies, supporting effective Scrum practices, identifying and removing impediments impacting team delivery, and maintaining clear coordination with stakeholders while separating execution from overarching project planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of IT delivery, software development, or agile project experience.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, lean principles, and the Scrum framework.
• Proven practical experience facilitating Agile ceremonies across diverse technology teams.
• Strong ability to identify, analyze, and resolve team impediments and blockers.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support and mentor software development teams on effective Scrum practices, agile principles, and continuous improvement.
• Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments, blockers, and dependencies impacting cross-functional team delivery.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders while maintaining clear separation from project planning and governance responsibilities.
• Foster self-organization, psychological safety, collaboration, and high performance within Scrum teams.
• Track and analyze agile performance metrics including velocity, burndown charts, and cycle times to forecast sprint capacity.
• Assist product owners in maintaining, grooming, and prioritizing product backlogs aligned with strategic business goals.
• Protect the development team from external distractions and scope creep during active sprint cycles.
• Maintain comprehensive agile documentation, sprint artifacts, retrospective action items, and team dashboards.
• Participate in agile community of practice initiatives to share lessons learned and standardize agile delivery patterns.

Detailed Job Description

As a Scrum Master at Talent Arabia in Oman, you will take full ownership of coaching multidisciplinary software teams on Scrum principles, agile frameworks, and continuous delivery best practices.
