Role Overview
We are seeking motivated SCADA PLC Engineers with 3 5 years of hands‑on experience in industrial automation environments. The role involves support of PLC and SCADA systems across industrial facilities in our Dry Dock Infrastructure with several PLCs, SCADA, and other solutions that need support, changes, updates, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- SCADA Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, and maintain SCADA/HMI applications
- Create and modify graphics, alarms, trends, and reports
- Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, RTUs, and field devices
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Perform upgrades and migrations of existing SCADA systems
- Assist with system documentation
- Perform integration & support tasks between PLCs and SCADA systems
- Diagnose communication and performance issues
- PLC Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs
- Support IO testing, logic verification, and loop checks
- Perform PLC backups, restores, and minor enhancements
- Assist during commissioning and operational support
- Read and understand P&IDs, control narratives, and electrical drawings
- Configure communication between PLCs and SCADA systems
- Support operations and maintenance teams following engineering standards and best practices

- AVEVA / Wonderware (System Platform, InTouch, Historian – basic)
- Siemens WinCC
- Rockwell FactoryTalk
PLC Systems
- Siemens S7 (TIA Portal / Simatic Manager)
- Allen Bradley CompactLogix / ControlLogix
- Mitsubishi PLCs
- Exposure to other PLCs is a plus
Industrial Communication Protocols
- Modbus TCP/IP
- Modbus RTU
- OPC DA / OPC UA
- AVEVA DAS / OI Servers
- Profinet / Profibus (basic)
Reporting & Data Skills
- Basic SQL Server knowledge
- Exposure to SQL‑based reporting or SSRS
- SCADA trending and logging concepts
Software Skills
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Basic Windows Server & VM awareness
Experience Level
3 to 5 years in SCADA, PLC, or system integration roles
Soft Skills
