Job summary

INTECH Process Automation is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our Operations & Maintenance team. The role covers design, development, programming, and maintenance of industrial automation and control systems to ensure reliable plant operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in control systems with at least 5 in Oil & Gas, hands-on experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, and familiarity with Modbus/Profibus/Ethernet/IP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in control systems, with minimum 5 years in Oil and Gas.
• Experience with Siemens PLCs S7-200/300/400/1200/1500 and Siemens Step7; knowledge of TIA Portal.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and RSLogix 5000.
• Strong knowledge of Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP and ladder, FBD, STL programming.
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.
• MS Office (Excel, Word) with MS 365 package.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program control systems (PLC, SCADA).
• Prepare functional specs, control philosophies, and system architecture.
• Select hardware and software components based on project requirements.
• Develop, test, and implement PLC and SCADA programs.
• Configure HMI/SCADA interfaces for process visualization and control.
• Modify and optimize existing programs to improve performance.
• Monitor and maintain control systems for continuous operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control-related issues in plant processes.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems.
• Lead or support FAT/SAT testing and commissioning.
• Support plant operations and analyze system performance for improvements.
• Maintain documentation for all systems and changes.
