Jumeirah Jabal Omar is seeking a Room Care Technician in the Engineering department to maintain and repair guest rooms with focus on electrical, furniture, and basic upkeep. The role involves efficient issue resolution and coordination with the guest services team.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience at a 5-star luxury property, holds secondary education, and may have vocational qualifications. English proficiency and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property.
• Secondary education required; vocational certification and trade qualification preferred.
• Strong technical skills in trade, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficient in English, able to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand guestroom-related issues, assess and fix problems efficiently.
• Perform maintenance tasks in rooms, including electrical, furniture, and basic repairs.
• Handle guests and team inquiries professionally and resolve room care complaints promptly.
• Complete assigned work orders, room inspections, and document all tasks performed.
• Choose the correct tools and parts from stores and maintain accurate usage logs.
• Report observed room damages to supervisors and recommend appropriate solutions.
