Makkah Hypermarket is hiring Department Supervisors for its hypermarket in Muscat Oman You will take charge of a department grocery fresh food household or non-food owning its daily standards a well-briefed team full and faced shelves accurate prices controlled stock and attentive customer service The role suits a retail supervisor who has run a section in a hypermarket or large supermarket leads from the floor and moves comfortably between people management merchandising and stock discipline through the trading day

Responsibilities

• Run the department s daily operation
• team briefing
• task allocation and floor supervision
• Keep the section fully stocked
• faced and priced to the planogram through trading hours
• Plan replenishment and coordinate with receiving back store and inventory teams
• Execute promotions and seasonal changes on time and to standard
• Control expiry rotation damages and shrinkage in the department
• Handle customer queries and complaints on the floor promptly and politely
• Train develop and appraise the department team
• Report sales availability and stock issues to store management

Qualifications

• 3+ years' retail experience in a hypermarket or large supermarket, including supervisory duties
• Able to run a section independently: people, merchandising and stock
• Strong knowledge of planograms, replenishment and expiry/rotation control
• Confident leading a multicultural team through busy trading periods
• Customer-focused with good communication in English; Arabic an advantage
• Flexible with shifts, weekends and peak-season hours
• GCC experience an advantage
