Job summary

Goodman Masson Oman is partnering with a new financial markets infrastructure venture in Oman to appoint a Reconciliations Lead. You will own daily, monthly and periodic reconciliation processes, oversee cash reconciliations and drive strong control environments to support live operations.

You'll supervise a Reconciliation Analyst, collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit, and contribute to building robust controls and reporting in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in reconciliations or related field.
• Strong cash reconciliation knowledge.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with reconciliation systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily, monthly and periodic reconciliation processes.
• Oversee cash reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Investigate reconciliation breaks and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise and develop the Reconciliation Analyst.
• Coordinate with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit.
