Job summary

Vrinda Global seeks a Quantity Surveyor for Oman to lead cost control and commercial activities on water pipeline projects. The role will require detailed BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and accurate cost estimation.

The candidate will monitor budgets, manage variations and claims, and support monthly progress and cost reporting. GCC experience is an added advantage for this Oman assignment.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• BE/BTech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering; mandatory.
• Experience in Water Pipeline Projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, measurements, billing, cost control, variations and claims.
• GCC experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs and quantity take-offs.
• Prepare estimates and cost calculations for water pipeline projects.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and commercial performance.
• Manage and evaluate variation orders, claims, and additional works.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documentation to identify commercial implications.
• Assist in preparing monthly progress reports and cost reports.
• Ensure accurate measurement and valuation of water pipeline works.

Mandatory Requirements

• Mandatory experience in Water Pipeline Projects
• Strong knowledge of BOQ quantity estimation measurements billing cost control variations and claims
• Candidates with GCC experience will have an added advantage
