Job summary

Vrinda Global is seeking a senior Quantity Surveyor for our Oman location to lead cost control, billing, and measurement for water pipeline projects. The role requires extensive experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration.

Ideal candidates will hold a BE/B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and have hands-on experience with water pipeline works. GCC exposure is a plus, with a strong focus on accurate measurements, variation handling, and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• BE/B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Mandatory experience in Water Pipeline Projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, measurements, billing, cost control, variations, and claims.
• Candidates with GCC experience will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, estimates, and cost calculations for water pipeline projects.
• Conduct detailed measurements of completed works and verify quantities against drawings and specifications.
• Prepare, evaluate, and certify interim payment applications and subcontractor bills.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and commercial performance.
• Manage and evaluate variation orders, claims, and additional works.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documentation to identify commercial implications.
• Assist in preparing monthly progress reports and cost reports.
• Ensure accurate measurement and valuation of water pipeline construction works.
