Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment seeks an experienced QA/QC Manager for a Duqm Factory Project in Oman. The role will lead the quality assurance and control team, develop the QMS, and ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

The successful candidate will manage QA/QC personnel, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and drive continuous quality improvements across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
• 8–10 years QA/QC experience in industrial/construction projects.
• 3–5 years in a QA/QC Manager or Lead QA/QC role.
• Experience in GCC countries, preferably Oman.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with ASTM, BS, ACI, AWS, ASME standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Prepare and manage Project Quality Plans, ITPs, MethodStatements, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate inspections and testing activities with clients, consultants, and third-party agencies.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and quality documentation.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager tolead all quality assurance and quality control activities for a factoryconstruction project in Duqm, Oman. The successful candidate will beresponsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Project QualityManagement System (QMS), ensuring that all construction activities comply withproject specifications, applicable codes and standards, client requirements,and contractual obligations. The QA/QC Manager will coordinate with the client,consultant, subcontractors, and project team to ensure the highest qualitystandards are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop,implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).


• Prepare andmanage Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), MethodStatements, and quality procedures.


• Ensurecompliance with project specifications, drawings, approved procedures, andapplicable standards.


• Manage all QA/QCpersonnel, inspectors, and laboratory activities.


• Coordinateinspections and testing activities with clients, consultants, and third-partyagencies.


• Review andapprove material submittals, method statements, and quality documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’sdegree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.


• Minimum 8–10years of QA/QC experience in industrial, factory, infrastructure, or heavyconstruction projects.


• Minimum 3–5years in a QA/QC Manager or Lead QA/QC role .


• Experience inGCC countries, preferably Oman.


• Strong knowledgeof ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.


• Experience withindustrial facilities, factories, warehouses, and infrastructure projects.


• Familiarity withASTM, BS, ACI, AWS, ASME, and other relevant international standards.


• Excellentknowledge of inspection, testing, and quality documentation processes.


• Strongleadership and communication skills.


• Fluent inEnglish. Chinese is an advantage
