Job summary

JCC System in Oman seeks a skilled Professional Services Specialist to deliver, implement, and support Managed Printing Solutions (MPS) and PC infrastructure for our clients. You will assess client needs, deploy tailored solutions, and ensure optimal performance of printing and computing environments.

You will deploy and configure MPS hardware and software, integrate with Active Directory, monitor print fleets, and support endpoint security, imaging, and deployment tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT services, focusing on MPS and PC support.
• Strong knowledge of print server management and network printing protocols.
• Experience with MPS platforms (HP, Lexmark, Develop, etc.).
• Familiar with endpoint management tools and ITIL practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess client printing environments and recommend optimized MPS strategies.
• Deploy and configure MPS hardware and software and monitor print fleets.
• Integrate MPS with existing IT infrastructure, including Active Directory and network policies.
• Deploy desktops, laptops, and peripherals per client standards and maintain OS/software.
• Provide training and documentation to end-users and administrators.
• Troubleshoot and resolve print-related issues with minimal downtime.

This role involves assessing client needs, deploying tailored solutions, and ensuring optimal performance of printing and computing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Managed Printing Solutions (MPS):

• Assess client printing environments and recommend optimized MPS strategies.


• Deploy and configure MPS hardware and software (e.g., print servers, multifunction printers, print management and monitoring software).


• Integrate MPS with existing IT infrastructure, including Active Directory and network policies.


• Monitor and manage print fleets using tools like Web Ysoft, Jetadmin, PaperCut, or uniFLOW.


• Provide training and documentation to end-users and administrators.


• Troubleshoot and resolve print-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

PC Infrastructure (Managed Services):

• Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, and peripherals according to client standards.


• Install and maintain operating systems, drivers, and productivity software.


• Perform hardware diagnostics, upgrades, and replacements.


• Support imaging and deployment tools


• Ensure endpoint security compliance and patch management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.


• 3+ years of experience in IT services, with a focus on MPS and PC support.


• Strong knowledge of print server management, and network printing protocols.


• Experience with MPS platforms (e.g., HP, Lexmark, Develop etc..).
