Our client based in Salalah is looking to hire an Omani Public Relations Manager for their company. Ideal canddiate will be responsible to drive and manage all government – related project enablers, including approvals, permits, regulatory clearances, and authority coordination required for project execution within Free Zones and Mainland. The role ensures that all statutory requirements are fulfilled on time to avoid projects delays, enabling seamless project mobilization, and operations.

Responsibilities

Project approvals & Regulatory Enablement

• Lead all Government approvals required for project lifecycle.
• Ensure timely acquisition of Construction Permits, Environmental approvals, Industrial Licenses, and Utility clearances.
• Tract approval timelines and proactively resolve bottlenecks to avoid project delays.

Authority coordination & Liaison

• Act as the Single point of contact for all government and Free Zone authorities related to project execution.
• Coordinate with OPAZ, Free Zone and Other regulators.
• Facilitate site inspections, authority visits, and compliance reviews.

Operational Compliance for Projects

• Ensure all project activities comply with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Support implementation of statutory guidelines during construction and operational phases.
• Maintain readiness for audits and inspections at all project stages.
• Manage permits related to:
  • Land allocation and site development
  • Construction and civil works
  • Utilities (electricity, water, sewage, telecom)
  • Industrial and operational licensing
• Coordinate with utility providers and authorities for timely connections and approvals.

Cross-Functional Project Support

• Work closely with project teams to ensure documentation readiness for approvals.
• Align with contractors, consultants, and vendors for compliance requirements.
• Provide real-time updates on approval status impacting project milestones.

Risk Mitigation & Issue Resolution

• Identify regulatory risks that may impact project timelines or cost.
• Escalate and resolve issues with authorities proactively.
• Develop contingency plans for critical approvals.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of all project-related approvals and submissions.
• Develop trackers for permit status, approvals, and compliance checkpoints.
• Provide regular reports to management on project regulatory progress.

Qualifications
