Job summary

Divyanka Technical Services & Trading LLC in Muscat seeks an Ovation Engineer with hands-on Emerson Ovation DCS expertise to perform preventive maintenance, system health checks and on-site troubleshooting for client sites. The role focuses on PM planning, diagnostics, minor software modifications with Ovation Developer Studio, OT cybersecurity support and coordination with client operations in Oman.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance of Emerson Ovation DCS as per the PM plan – controllers, I/O, workstations, servers, network and power supplies
• Perform system health checks, diagnostics review, backups and PM reporting
• Troubleshoot Ovation controllers, I/O modules, workstations and network issues at site
• Perform minor logic, graphics and database modifications using Ovation Developer Studio under PTW and MOC
• Support third-party communication checks (Modbus, Profibus, OPC)
• Support system upgrades, commissioning and SAT activities when required
• Prepare PM reports, findings and recommendations for the client
• Coordinate with client operations and follow client HSE procedures
• Support OT cybersecurity activities – patching, antivirus, backups and user management

Overview

Ovation Engineer with hands-on experience in Emerson Ovation DCS, responsible mainly for preventive maintenance, system health checks and troubleshooting at customer sites, and supporting site modifications

when required.

1. Key Responsibilities
