Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment in Muscat, Oman, is seeking a Public Relations Officer (PRO) for government relations and compliance. This full-time, on-site role requires a minimum of five years' PRO experience in Oman or the GCC and a proven track record handling MOL, ROP, MoCIIP and MOFA procedures.

You will interface with ministries and authorities, manage visa, labour, and licensing processes, maintain a compliance calendar, and coordinate with HR, Finance and Legal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or recognised Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a PRO in Oman or the GCC.
• Experience with Sanad, Invest Easy, Business Gateway, Bayan, MCD and MSX portals.
• In-depth knowledge of Oman Labour Law and the Omanisation framework.
• Fluency in Arabic (essential); proficient written and spoken English.
• Valid Omani driving licence (essential).
• High personal integrity and discretion with confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Act as single named interface for the Company with MOL, ROP, MoCIIP, MOFA and other authorities.
• Maintain a comprehensive Compliance Calendar for licences, filings and approvals.
• Migrate credentials to a dedicated PRO mailbox and SIM under a Delegation of Authority.
• Represent the Company at ministry counters and service centres as required.
• Manage end-to-end visa, residence cards, family visas, labour-card renewals and related processes.
• Coordinate HR, Finance and Legal for cross-functional compliance.
• Prepare governance reports and support audits with a compliant trail.
