You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient marine activities while leading the operations team and coordinating with ports, terminals, vessel operators, owners, and Head Office.

The role requires a Master Mariner and at least 5 years of shore-based marine operations experience, with strong leadership and cross-port coordination abilities.

Qualifications

• Master Mariner qualification preferred or required.
• Minimum 5 years of shore-based experience in marine/vessel operations, ideally in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of port and vessel operations, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end vessel and marine operations across all ports in Oman.
• Lead the entire operations team and manpower planning.
• Coordinate vessel operations, port calls, berthing, loading/unloading, and related activities.
• Engage with port authorities, terminal operators, vessel owners, and agents.
• Ensure operations comply with maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitor performance, drive efficiency, and address delays or emergencies.
• Communicate across vessels, ports, terminals, and management.
• Support cost control and prepare operational reports and KPIs.
• Develop procedures to continuously improve marine operations in Oman.
• Represent the company in meetings with maritime stakeholders.
