Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven professional experience in network security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Fortinet security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, network protocols, and firewall management.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions.
• Administer and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet security products.
• Monitor network performance, security events, and potential threats.
• Implement firewall policies, VPNs, routing, switching, and access-control rules.
• Investigate network and security incidents and provide timely resolutions.
• Perform system upgrades, security hardening, and configuration reviews.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and customers to meet service requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven professional experience in network security engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions .
• Solid experience with Fortinet technologies.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, network protocols, and firewall management.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work full-time and on-site in Sohar, Oman .
