Job summary

TAT IT Technolgies is seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist in Oman to secure the bank’s network and security infrastructure. You will manage F5 BIG-IP LTM/ASM, Forcepoint Websense, and Fortinet security solutions within enterprise banking environments.

Responsibilities include designing secure network architectures, enforcing banking security standards, and maintaining high availability through tuning firewalls, proxies, and load balancers. Strong hands-on expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with F5 WAF/LTM, Forcepoint Websense, and Fortinet in enterprise or banking environments.
• Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred.
• Strong network security operations and infrastructure maintenance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the bank’s network infrastructure services in line with policies and SLAs.
• Design, implement, and configure secure network solutions compliant with banking standards.
• Manage Web Application Firewalls, Proxy Servers, Load Balancers, and Network Firewalls.
• Lead security projects and ensure Change Management and capacity planning are followed.

• Strong experience on F5 BIG-IP (LTM & ASM/WAF) Administration is THE Must


• Strong experience in Forcepoint Websense / Secure Web Gateway is the MUST


• Strong experience on Fortinet Security Solutions is MUST


• Strong experience Enterprise Network Security & Infrastructure Operations is the MUST


• Strong Banking Domain is preferred not mandatory

Candidates without hands‑on experience in F5 WAF/LTM, Forcepoint Websense, and Fortinet technologies will not be considered. Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the bank’s network infrastructure services in line with approved timelines, policies, and operational guidelines.


• Manage and optimize network infrastructure including routing, switching, load balancing, and security platforms to ensure high availability and performance.


• Design, implement, and configure secure network solutions that comply with banking security standards and agreed SLAs.


• Administer and manage:


• Web Application Firewalls (WAF)


• Proxy Servers


• Load Balancers


• Network Firewalls


• Perform configuration management, policy enforcement, performance tuning, upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance of all security and network systems.


• Work closely with Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and delivery teams to ensure secure and fully functional network services.


• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network security technologies and provide support across departments and branches.


• Lead network-related initiatives, implementation projects, and operational improvements.


• Ensure adherence to Change Management processes, operational procedures, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).


• Enforce best practices related to:


• Capacity Management


• Network Resiliency


• Security Hardening


• Patching & Upgrades


• Support the preparation, maintenance, and review of technical documentation, operational procedures, and policies.


• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and 24/7 operational support when required.


• Mentor and guide team members to improve technical competencies and operational standards.


• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with the bank’s policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.


• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Network Security and Infrastructure Operations.


• Strong experience in banking or financial services environments preferred.


• Relevant certifications are highly desirable, such as:


• F5 Certified Administrator / Specialist


• NSE (Fortinet Network Security Expert)


• CCNP Security / CCIE Security


• Forcepoint Certifications
