AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Design Manager (Mechanical) to lead the mechanical engineering design across projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with codes and standards.

You will oversee multidisciplinary coordination, manage design schedules and budgets, mentor engineers, review deliverables, and interface with clients and authorities on technical matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) is desirable.
• 10-15 years of mechanical design leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering design activities from concept through construction support.
• Develop and review mechanical deliverables, calculations, and drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and process teams.
• Manage design schedules, resources, and budgets to milestones.
• Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor engineers and designers, fostering collaboration.
• Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
