Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and repair of heavy construction equipment and industrial plant machinery.
• Experience with heavy equipment electrical diagnostics and repair.
• Strong knowledge of PLC controls, sensors and safety circuits.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and plant machinery.
• Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic and testing equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot mobile equipment, cranes, screening plants and MRPs.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and condition monitoring.
• Repair wiring, sensors, relays, switches and safety circuits.
• Follow safety rules including LOTO and PPE.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner with strong hands-on expertise in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy equipment and industrial plant machinery. The role will support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, safe operations and minimum downtime. Maintenance Planner 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and plant machinery.
• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults using computerized diagnostic and electrical testing equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot mobile equipment, cranes, screening plants and Metal Recovery Plants (MRP).
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and condition monitoring.
• Repair electrical wiring, sensors, relays, switches, starters, alternators, controllers and safety circuits.
• Troubleshoot heavy equipment A/C electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings and OEM manuals.
• Inspect emergency stops, alarms, pull cords and other critical safety systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
• Support equipment commissioning, testing and fault finding.
• Follow LOTO, PPE and electrical safety requirements at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and repair of heavy construction equipment, industrial plant machinery and material handling equipment.
• Proven experience with MRP, screening plants, mobile equipment and cranes.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in heavy equipment A/C diagnostics and repair.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLC controls, sensors and safety circuits.
• Experience using computerized diagnostic tools and electrical testing instruments.Exposure to Caterpillar (CAT), Doosan, Komatsu or KAMAG equipment is preferred.
• Degree/Diploma in Heavy Duty Equipment Electrical Technology, Industrial Electrical Maintenance, Automotive Electrical Systems or a related discipline.

Additional Requirements
