Job summary

Tawteen is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Oman for maintenance of electrical equipment across the factory. You will manage transformers, distribution cabinets, motors, PLCs and sensors, and lead fault analysis and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include maintenance planning, SOP updates, on-site training, and ensuring LOTO and insulation tests are conducted. Candidates should have a relevant degree and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Read electrical schematics and wiring drawings.
• Familiar with high/low-voltage circuits and motor control.
• Able to inspect, maintain and improve electrical systems.
• Know factory safety standards, LOTO, insulation tests and grounding.
• Strong fault analysis and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

The Scope of Work

Maintenance upkeep and fault handling of all electrical equipment throughout the factory premises

Major Responsibilities

1. Be responsible for technical management of electrical systems transformer distribution cabinets motors inverters PLC and sensors


2. Analyze troubleshoot and repair electrical faults deal with tripping communication failure and component damage


3. Compile electrical check list maintenance plan and SOP update electrical drawings and wiring diagrams


4. Provide electrical technical support for operation amp shift staff conduct technical training


5. Implement electrical safety management earthing insulation test LOTO lockout tagout high voltage operation safety control

Minor Responsibilities

1. Review electrical modification amp new project schemes perform on site installation commissioning and power on test


2. Record equipment abnormalities amp accidents write failure reports and formulate corrective amp preventive actions


3. Evaluate and apply for electrical spare parts count component consumption and control spare part cost

Performance Standards

Safety management Neither I nor my subordinates experience any safety incidents or work-related accidents during the month and the number of instances of red-ink incidents does not exceed 1time

Quality of supply Ensure stable supply quality and prevent supply interruptions caused by human errors or inadequate management Ensure that the workgroup performs maintenance and upkeep according to the equipment maintenance plan implements maintenance tasks and reduces the frequency of equipment failures

Qualifications

1. College degree or above, major in Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering and related fields.


2. Familiar with high/low-voltage electrical circuit, distribution cabinet wiring, motor control, sensors and electric-pneumatic control principle.


3. Able to read electrical schematics and wiring drawings, independently complete inspection, maintenance and technical improvement


4. Familiar with factory electrical safety standards, master LOTO, insulation test and grounding inspection.


5. Strong fault analysis and problem-solving ability, able to handle electrical abnormalities efficiently


6. Hold valid High Voltage/Low-Voltage/ Electrician Certificate is a plus.
