Job summary

Siemens AG in Muscat is seeking a Sales Support Engineer for the Electrical Products business unit to drive revenue growth and deliver tailored low‑voltage solutions. You will prepare quotations, support customers technically and commercially, and collaborate with the sales team to shape strategies for key government accounts.

The role requires strong LV products knowledge, EPC/contractor experience, and 3+ years in the Middle East market, with fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering from a reputable university.
• Expert level experience in LV products and sales & marketing background.
• Solid experience with EPCs & contractors in the power distribution market.
• More than 3 years of experience in low voltage switchgear within the Middle East market.
• Fluent English and Arabic; additional language skills appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the assigned business unit's financial targets
• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for low-voltage products based on customer requirements and specifications
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers by addressing inquiries and offering suitable solutions
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and contribute to the development of sales strategies
• Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring that all details are accurate and properly entered into the relevant systems while ensuring full compliance with internal processes
• Coordinate with internal departments such as logistics and supply chain to monitor order status and provide customers with timely delivery updates
• Proactively communicate any potential delays or issues to customers and the sales team
• Actively engage with key government end users including the Ministry of Defence (MOD), Ministry of Health (MOH), Royal Court Affairs (RCA), and the Royal Oman Police (ROP)
• Promote Siemens low‑voltage product portfolio and solutions by highlighting the company’s value proposition and technological advantages
• Build and maintain strong long‑term relationships with these strategic accounts to strengthen Siemens market presence and brand loyalty
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within these government sectors
