Job summary

Karwa Motors in Muscat is seeking a Process Engineer to study production activities and propose improvements in processes, equipment, and methods. The role focuses on Lean tools, ISO 9001:2015 alignment, and cost-quality objectives.

You will supervise process documentation and collaborate across departments to enhance product quality and delivery efficiency. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in automobile processing, strong CAD/3D and simulation skills, and a solid Lean manufacturing background.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 years experience in Automobile OEM at Process Engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Production or Automobile Engineering, or Bachelor of Chemical Engineering.
• Full expertise in CAD or 3D Software and Simulation of production.
• Full expertise in manufacturing feasibility according to design and manufacturing center.
• Significant work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably Bus industry.
• Knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from the beginning to the startup and production certification.
• Evaluate processes, perform measurements, and interpret data.
• Design, execute, test and update systems and processes.
• Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality.
• Perform process simulations.
• Manage cost and time restrictions.
• Conduct risk assessments.
• Formulate process documentation and operating instructions.
• Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products.
