Job summary

Gender is seeking an experienced Project Manager for complex shipbuilding, repair, and conversion projects. You will oversee budgets, manhours, and cross-functional teams, coordinating with clients and third-party entities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to technical requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Naval Architecture/Mechanical or Electrical Eng, a PMP certification, and about 8 years of project management experience in shipyards or related industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture/Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• PMP certificate.
• 8 years of experience in project management for shipbuilding/newbuilding projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize activities to ensure work is within budget and manhours.
• Update budget status daily and provide feedback to Production to control MH.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure technical execution.
• Prepare progress reports and conduct progress meetings with clients.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, quality, safety, and risk management.
• Coordinate with multiple departments, clients, and subcontractors to meet timelines.
