Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a factory construction project in Duqm, Oman. You will manage all commercial and cost-related aspects, including quantity take-offs, BOQ, cost control, subcontract administration, valuations, and contract management, coordinating with project teams to ensure delivery within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or related field, 8+ years’ experience, GCC/OMAN exposure preferred, and strong Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial, factory, infrastructure, or heavy civil construction projects.
• Experience in Oman or GCC countries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, and cash flow.
• Prepare monthly valuations, payment applications, and commercial reports.
• Review and certify subcontractor invoices and progress claims.
• Evaluate quotations and support procurement activities.
• Manage variation orders, change requests, and contractual claims.
• Maintain project cost control systems and forecasting reports.
