Job summary

Grand Hyatt San Francisco, a Hyatt Hotels Corporation property, seeks an experienced housekeeping supervisor to lead a luxury team and uphold five-star service standards. You will train, motivate and schedule staff, ensure cleanliness and safety, and coordinate with Front Office for VIP rooms and special requests.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in luxury housekeeping, strong leadership and communication skills, and a meticulous eye for detail in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of housekeeping experience in luxury or five-star hotel with supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.
• Strong knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards, cleaning techniques and sanitation protocols.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to manage a diverse team.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Be actively involved in building teamwork and enhancing the team’s commitment to their work and the hotel.
• Understand hotel vision and brand personality and integrate it in daily work practices.
• Train staff to work according to hotel standards.
• Recognize outstanding performance and address substandard performance promptly and constructively.
• Schedule employees according to business needs.
• Communicate professionally with guests, suppliers and colleagues.
• Keep supervisor informed of matters affecting work, service or reputation.
• Maintain grooming standards and a clean appearance.
• Be flexible to changes in duties, area or roster as needed.
• Support guests and colleagues with a helpful attitude.
• Ensure minibars procedures are followed and conduct spot checks with F&B.
• Assist managers in planning weekly rosters and training, and manage incident reports.
