Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment seeks a skilled Baker - Thai for a full-time position in Muscat. You will prepare bakery items, ensure taste and presentation, and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma with a vocational bakery certificate or a diploma, has experience in hotels or restaurants, and demonstrates strong leadership, quality control (HACCP) and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and vocational certificate in bakery.
• Experience in hotels/restaurants, often with culinary degree.
• Expertise in various bakery techniques.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation: bake and ensure consistent taste and presentation of bakery products.
• Quality & hygiene: maintain HACCP and FIFO standards.
• Team leadership: train and supervise Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs.
• Menu contribution: assist with menu development and special bakery items.
• Inventory management: oversee ingredients and kitchen equipment.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Adaptability and precision in fast-paced environments.
