Jing Hau in Muscat, Oman, seeks an Experienced Baker to join the team. You will prepare a range of breads, pastries and other baked goods, following recipes to ensure high-quality results in a full-time role based in Muscat.

Requirements include 3+ years in a commercial bakery, strong baking knowledge, and excellent English. Arabic is a plus. The role offers visa sponsorship and potential air-ticket support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of breads, pastries, and baking techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and measure ingredients precisely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Good time-management skills to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic a plus).
• Must have valid work permit or be eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods.
• Follow recipes and measurements to ensure consistent quality.
• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed.
• Decorate and finish products with icings, glazes, fillings, etc.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Order supplies as needed.
• Train and supervise junior staff members.
